In the jungle, the mighty jungle...

OK...
after 1700 kilometers in a bus we´re now right over on the east (right) of the country now. From 2100m to 210m and v.dry to v.humid. but still hot.

Only managed a cama bus (i.e beds at 30 degrees not the super cama flat ones)
but trip went as well as any 30 hour bus journey ever could.
Chronicles of Riddick as one of the films cheered me up but DVDs weren´t really made for some of these roads and seeing the end in a series of jumpcuts compressing it from what must have been 15 - 20 minutes into at the most 5 minutes may not have been how the director originally meant it (it was the closest "with a bound he was free" cinematic moment I´ve ever seen!)

Aideen also did beat me on backammon. bugger.

Anyway, we´re into the final stretch. In the jungle - off to see the Waterfalls tomorrow - so it´s humid and lots of insects and birds (humming birds etc.)
...

Aideen´s recovering from a wee tummy bug. All that vegetarian food I expect! but she´s on the mend now - back on the solids anyway!
